Silent Auction

To commemorate our 50th Anniversary, National Student Exchange created the NSE Application Fee Award to support exchange-bound students in meeting the expense of the NSE application fee. The award provides financial support equivalent to the NSE student application fee (currently $150.00). It is intended to enhance the possibility of exchange for students who may find the application fee a barrier to participation.

We host our annual silent auction to supplement this scholarship fund. Please consider donating items yourself or partnering with your campus bookstore, local business, or other retailers.

Soliciting Donations

If you are soliciting donations from your campus bookstore and/or other retailers, please present this silent auction solicitation confirming NSE status as a non-profit organization. Donations may be tax deductible.

Donating Items

Please complete the silent auction donation form and return it to Leah Holmberg by February 22, 2019. Please consider travel and flight limitations for item size. Coordinators must fly home with these items. Donated items should be dropped off during conference check-in.

Sports & Entertainment: tickets to sporting events or concerts, Fandango or Redbox gift certificates

Travel: vacation rental or use of a vacation home, hotel gift certificates, air travel vouchers

Beauty & Wellness: skin care, hair care, essential oils, salon/spa gift certificates (national chains)

Fashion: scarves, hats, gloves, hand-made items, gift certificates (national chains)

Jewelry: handmade items, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, cuff links

Children & Family: handmade clothing, baby items, arts and crafts supplies, gift certificates (national chains)

Culinary & Wine: restaurant gift certificates (national chains), regional food items, wine, spirits

Art: original pottery or artwork (please include box, tube or other safety packaging)
