NSE-HQ is seeking donations for a silent auction benefiting the NSE Application Fee Award. Bidding for the silent auction will take place ONLINE on Wednesday, October 8 during conference activities. The auction will be available for in person conference attendees only.
National Student Exchange created the NSE Application Fee Award to support exchange-bound students in meeting the expense of the NSE application fee. The award provides financial support equivalent to the student application fee (currently $150.00). It is intended to enhance the possibility of exchange for students who may find the application fee a barrier to participation.
Proceeds from this silent auction will supplement the scholarship fund. Please consider donating items yourself or partnering with your campus bookstore, local business, or other retailers.
Cash Donations In lieu of a contribution to the silent auction, you are always welcome to make a cash donation to the NSE Application Fee Award. DONATE NOW
Soliciting Donations If you are soliciting donations from your campus bookstore and/or other retailers, please present the silent auction solicitation letter (below) confirming NSE status as a non-profit organization. Donations may be tax deductible.
Donating Items
Complete and submit the silent auction donation form by October 3, 2025. Contact Cheryl Skafte with questions or if you need the form in an alternate format.
Recommended items include campus sportswear (nice sweatshirts, jackets or other apparel) or items representing your state or region.
Please consider travel and flight limitations for item size. Coordinators must fly home with these items. Donated items should be dropped off during conference check-in.
